This branding project is from my college portfolio. The goals of the design are to provide a visual identity for a bakery opening in New York City. Their business model is to provide an unexpected bakery experience for a young and trendsetting crowd. They offer the usual bakery items, but also provide healthy and vegan options for a diverse customer base. They wanted bold colors and a logo that would set them apart from the competition.
I chose to use bold colors and two bold typefaces to give them a unique look. This combined with original graphics provided Upper Crust with what they were looking for, a unique visual expression of their business mission.

This brand mark can serve the bakery's need for a visual representation of their business. It can be used in addition to the logo design and adds some versatility to the branding package. A text-only version of the logo was also completed for use on very small-scale presentations, when readability is the most important communication element.

business cards & letterhead
This sample business card and letterhead design were added to show how the branding elements could be applied to promotional materials to further promote the business. Colors, typography, and graphics were taken from the original logo and brand mark to create professional correspondence materials for the staff at Upper Crust.
